Koumozo & Octopus
Elaia is a Greek-inspired cafe and restaurant that offers a unique hospitality and menu experience in Launceston. Our homemade desserts and signature dishes, sauces and stocks all made from scratch, will delight your taste buds. Our modern, spacious, and comfortable indoor and outdoor dining makes it the perfect venue for your special event or spot for a casual catch up. Whether it's all day breakfast, long lunch, or a delicious Greek dinner, we've got something special for you. We look forward to welcoming you soon. We are also the founders of Koumozo Ouzo, Tasmania's first commercially produced Ouzo. Koumozo is a truly refined spirit with aniseed flavours distilled in a small copper still made in the central highlands of Tasmania at Miena. We have used local botanicals to make a refined smooth spirit unlike any other Ouzo in the world. We are honoured and humbled to be part of the charm that is Charles Street and to have observed its development into a significant eating precinct in Launceston Tasmania.
