Welcome to Australia's oldest continually operating boutique singe malt whisky distillery. Discover our aged, rare and award-winning single malts expressions. Visit our cellar door for sales or to experience the full Hellyers Road story by booking a tour. Our Visitor Centre is open daily (except public holidays) for tour bookings and hosts a restaurant with breathtaking views across the Emu Valley. Visitors can enjoy a fully interpreted tour of the distillery (Whisky Walk) to find out the fascinating origins behind the brand and learn how Hellyers Road crafts its award-winning single malt whiskies. The Whisky Walk also provides guests with the opportunity to pour and wax seal their very own bottle of Hellyers Road Distiller's Choice whisky - the oldest bottle-your-own aged statement whisky in the southern hemisphere - complete with a signed Certificate of Authenticity. Bookings for the Whisky Walk are highly recommended. Following the tour, you can sample a range of single malts, and Tasmania's most loved and award winning whisky cream liqueurs at the dedicated tasting counter - or enjoy a superb restaurant showcasing local produce from Tasmania's northwest coast. A visit to Hellyers Road Distillery is a fascinating experience, offering whisky lovers and travellers alike a wonderful insight into one of Australia's iconic spirits brands and what makes it truly unique.
