Clay Play Parent and Child Workshop

Father and son painting a clay bowl together
Mother and daughter playing with clay toghether with clay covered hands
Clay Play Parent and Child Workshop offers time to create together with artist Christie Lange in Binalong Bay on Tasmania's Bay of Fires. One adult and one child work alongside each other, each making their own ceramic pieces. Explore pinching, shaping, joining and adding texture, with individual guidance to bring ideas to life. Inspiration might come from animals, nature, favourite objects or imagination. Beginners are welcome. Parents, grandparents, carers and other significant adults can share the experience, learning together in a small group limited to three adult and child pairs. Clay, tools, tuition, glazing by Christie and kiln firings are included. Finished pieces are ready approximately four to six weeks later, with collection or Australia wide postage at an additional cost.
