Join us for a relaxed evening of dinner and conversation with artist and educator Brigita Ozolins. Inspired by a love of books and libraries, Dr Brigita Ozolins is best known for making large-scale installations about our relationship to language, history and culture. She has completed numerous commissions for public and private organisations including MONA, the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, the City of Hobart, Ten Days on the Island, Mona Foma, Dark Mofo, Detached, Libraries Tasmania and the Soros Foundation Latvia. In this intimate setting at The Kentish, in the heart of Oatlands, Brigita will share insights into her artistic practice, influences, and the deeper meanings woven through her work. Time: 6pm (talk starts at 7.30pm) Description: Enjoy a 2-course meal at The Kentish - Oatlands, followed by a talk from Brigita Ozolins
