Kelp Basket Workshop Marrawah

Our recently built cottage sits on our 35-acre family farm overlooking the stunning Preminghana (Mount Cameron West) and Anne Bay in beautiful Marrawah Tasmania. The beach is only a 5-minute walk down the road. The space has a fully equipped kitchen, washer-dryer combo, internet, smart TV and heating and cooling. Whilst it is only one bedroom with a queen bed the sofa does pull out into a bed should you require an additional guest or travelling with a friend. We have tried to make the most of the space to make it comfortable & relaxing. Close by is the Marrawah Inn where you can get a great meal 7 days a week.

Come to beautiful Marrawah and stay at our powered site and explore what is on offer with endless beach walks and pristine coastlines to explore. A shop and pub are within 2 kilometres of the campsite. Visit the nearby Greens Beach and Nettley Bay, and take in the views of the rolling waves from your sit. Power is available at an additional cost.

Arthur River Cabin Park is a small friendly family owned and operated caravan and cabin park located 2 km from the river and beach. We are located in far northwest Tasmania 14 km south of Marrawah in the Arthur Pieman Conservation area and are the gateway to the Tarkine Wilderness and the Western Explorer Road, an alternative well-maintained gravel road leading to Corinna and Strahan. A very real and rustic part of Tasmania that you really need to see to believe. Come and explore an area with untouched beaches, Australia’s largest cool temperate rainforest, the wild roaring 40s winds at the edge of the world and some of the largest waves you will see while standing on land. We are just a hop skip and jump from the Arthur River Cruises (highly recommend) which takes you 14 km up one of the most pristine rivers in Tasmania, feeding the sea eagles along the way. The park provides powered sites, unpowered sites and cabin accommodation as well as a camp kitchen, bbq area, laundry and amenities building. We have an abundance of wildlife including paddymelons, echidnas, wallabies, possums and even the occasional quoll and devil.
