The Lodge started construction in 2003 – completed in 2009, is located on 110 acres nestled on the edge of the majestic wilderness named ‘The Tarkine’. The Tarkine is the second largest area of temperate rainforest in the world and is home to many varieties of natural vegetation and wildlife. The Tarkine Wilderness Lodge offers guests exclusive use of the facility including 3 luxurious rooms with ensuite and beautiful vistas, on site caravans as well as the campground. The Lodge was purchased by NJL (National Joblink) in early 2021, opening the property up to School Groups and other local Community Organisations, as well as continuing to offer it for self-catered bookings via Airbnb.

Camp out on the 25-acre farm and animal sanctuary in the fertile valley of Preolenna, in Tassie's lovely northwest. Campers have access to power and excellent sweet and soft well water, as well as toilet facilities. Access for all types of vehicles is good, with plenty of space to turn around. This is a farm animal sanctuary, guests are asked to respect animals by not cooking animal products whilst you stay. Japa Hill Farm also grows sunflowers, potatoes, and other vegetables on the farm. Welcoming guests to camp or stay in one of vacation rentals on the property. Guests love staying here! They particularly enjoy the meandering bush walks that lead to lakes and hidden waterfalls. Japa Hill makes for a safe base to explore the region, with Boat Harbour just 30 minutes drive and Cradle Mountain two hours away. The Spirit of Tasmania ferry terminal is just 74 minute's drive away.

Crayfish Creek Van and Cabin Park and Spa Treehouse are located near Stanley in Tasmania's Northwest. The park provides cabin and unit accommodation as well as campsites, powered or non-powered, situated between Rocky Cape National Park and historic Stanley.
