Hazards Hideaway
Tucked away on Tasmania's spectacular East Coast, Hazards Hideaway is a private retreat where the pace naturally slows. Proudly managed by Freycinet Holiday Houses, it offers sweeping views across Great Oyster Bay to the Hazards. Designed for privacy, tranquillity and togetherness, the entire retreat is rented exclusively to one group at a time. Two freestanding villas — The Waterfront and The Boat House — are connected by a courtyard, allowing guests to enjoy shared time and personal space. The Waterfront is a cosy one-bedroom escape for couples, with spectacular coastal views from every room and a king or twin-bed configuration. For bookings of three or four guests, The Boat House becomes part of your stay and provides a separate first-floor suite with its own deck. The retreat includes a fully equipped kitchen, gas cooktop, BBQ, comfortable furnishings, luxury beds, Wi-Fi, heating and air-conditioning, electric blankets, and TVs in both buildings. A wood fire adds warmth and atmosphere from May to September. The beach is just minutes away, with Freycinet National Park, Friendly Beaches and Coles Bay a short drive away. Most of all, Hazards Hideaway offers the luxury of having nowhere to be — a place to switch off, breathe deeply and recharge. Please note: Due to separated sleeping areas and an unfenced nearby cliff, the property is not suitable for young children.
