Twamley Farm is a 7,000 acre, working farm situated on the Tea Tree Rivulet just east of Buckland. The original sandstone homestead built-in 1842 sits at the top of the valley and is a former home to famous 19th century Tasmanian artist and writer Louisa Anne Meredith. You can stay in our unique accommodation or come for an event or celebration. Day visits/functions can be tailored to your needs for a minimum of six (6) guests. We offer a range of cooking classes by appointment for groups of 6-8 participants. Triabunna Barracks is a recently redeveloped heritage bed and breakfast located adjacent to the marina in Triabunna. The barracks feature three large suites with a kitchenette and huge luxury bathrooms complete with bath, shower and heated floors. Each room comfortably accommodates two adults. All rooms contain king-size beds that can be configured in twin or double format. The downstairs suite is access friendly. There is a separate kitchen and dining room complete with a common area to relax by the fireplace. Honesty bar available. Join us for breakfast in the dining room or enjoy a generous continental breakfast in your room. EV Charging is available for guests. Triabunna Barracks are close to the Marina, the Maria Island ferry, the local hotels, shops, butchers and supermarkets. Activities available include visiting the local wineries and distillery, bushwalking on Maria Island, fishing charters and whale watching (in season). Triabunna Barracks are a 70-minute drive from Hobart via the Tasman Highway (A3).

Island Eden offers self-contained and bed and breakfast accommodation in Triabunna on Tasmania's East Coast. Enjoy comfortable accommodation in an ensuite room with a spa shower, where you can relax and listen to music from the built-in FM radio. The units are ideal for couples with a queen-size bed, and the studio apartment includes a sofa bed that can be used for a child. Guests with a disability are welcome as we have a room, especially for you with full wheelchair access and an accessible bathroom facility. Island Eden is a home away from home while exploring the beauty of the East Coast region, and features a fully fitted kitchen and dining area. French doors open to the deck where you can watch the birds or boats go by. There is a picnic barbecue area where you can enjoy the peace of the garden or soak up the sea view. Watch the sunrise over Spring Bay. Fish, boat, golf, surf or walk along sunny silver beaches nearby, or visit the beautiful and historic Maria Island or explore the rest of the beautiful East Coast. Triabunna is about a one-hour drive (84 km) north-east of Hobart.
