Misty Ridge is conveniently located 35 minutes away from Sorell, 30 minutes to Orford but feels like a world away. This property feels isolated and peaceful. There is abundant space to explore, and clear flat grass for kids to play. They offer space and peace to pull-up your RV caravan or tent in a peaceful bush setting that is a perfect base for exploring Tasmania. Located 35 minutes to Sorrell (shopping, dump point), 30 minutes to historic town Richmond, 30 minutes to Orford (gateway to the east coast, beaches, surf), 30 minutes to Oatlands (historic town, distillery) and 50 minutes to Hobart. Please note there is no phone reception or very limited (you may get one bar at the gate and randomly around the property). Self sufficient campers only, they currently don't offer toilets or water facilities. Camping is in the fenced area, however you are free to access the property via foot or push bike. There is a track that loops around the bush of the property.

The farm is just a short drive from The Storekeeper's, where guests have full access to wander amongst the historic buildings, walk or mountain bike. The cottage has two queen-sized bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen with a gourmet mini bar, breakfast provisions, Nespresso coffee pod machine and gourmet pre-prepared meals on hand. The study is well stocked with books, magazines, DVDs and games. You will enjoy relaxing by the wood fire or in the sheltered courtyard with a fire pot at the end of the day enjoying a glass of our best local East Coast wine. The Storekeepers have an electric vehicle charging station conveniently located at the front of the property. The EV charger is available for guests and the public 24/7.

A stylishly restored baltic pine hut that was the original Shearers Hut at Twamley Farm, in the days when shearing was done with hand shears and the season would stretch on for months. Situated at the end of the valley, the Shearers Hut boasts vistas of the densely forested rolling hills surrounding Twamley Farm. Get cosy by the wood fire or relax in the outdoor bath, breathing in the clean, crisp country air and soaking up the farm views.
