Twamley Farm is a 7,000 acre, working farm situated on the Tea Tree Rivulet just east of Buckland. The original sandstone homestead built-in 1842 sits at the top of the valley and is a former home to famous 19th century Tasmanian artist and writer Louisa Anne Meredith. You can stay in our unique accommodation or come for an event or celebration. Day visits/functions can be tailored to your needs for a minimum of six (6) guests. We offer a range of cooking classes by appointment for groups of 6-8 participants. Immerse yourself in the ultimate nature experience as you unwind at ‘The Croft’ at Arden Retreat. Arden Retreat is on the outskirts of the historic village of Richmond in the Coal River Valley wine region, 30 minutes from Hobart in southern Tasmania. It is part family farm and part a preservation of Tasmanian bush. The Peppermint and Blue Gums provide habitat to many native animals, including a wedge-tailed eagle nest which is home to two striking "wedgies". The Croft at Arden is an exquisitely appointed two-bedroom cabin set amongst the gumtrees. The design, craftsmanship and interiors draw the built and natural environments together. The Blue Gum cladding is felled from the property. The glass frontage draws in natural light and warmth in abundance and the generous deck leads to a woodfired hot tub & fire pit. The architecturally designed space adjusts perfectly to accommodate singles, couples or a family. The primary pavilion consists of a separate main bedroom with king bed, open plan living, kitchen and bathroom. The second bedroom is linked via the atrium-style entrance. The Croft provides complete seclusion yet is located only 5 minutes from the cafes, shops and historic sites of Richmond.

Iron Creek Bay Farm Stay is based 30 minutes drive from Hobart in Tasmania’s southeast region. Our total land area estimated 430,000 square meters within these 70,000 square meters is allocated for orchards. Iron Creek Bay Farm Stay has been a project for over two years bringing to life what originally was a small family farm, formally known as Orani, to the existing site which is now home to cherry and apricot orchards as well as Tasmanian cool climate wine varieties, which also offers fine dining, gift shop, Cafe & accommodation. Situated in the gate way to the Forestier & Tasman Peninsula, Iron Creek Bay Farm Stay is a large farm stay offering guests beautifully presented variety of accommodation, dinning & entertainment options.
