Spring Bay Mill is a sustainable events venue on the east coast of lutruwita/Tasmania. Once home to the world’s largest wood chip mill, this 43 hectare waterfront site contrasts sweeping sea views and natural bush landscapes nestled amongst Eucalypt forest. We offer everything you need for a productive event – state-of-the-art facilities, a dedicated events coordinator, award-winning accommodation, garden-to-plate goodness – and woven it through the rich stories of the site’s unique past and the highest possible standards for a sustainable future. We can accommodate up to 118 people on site, but if you need more we can arrange other nearby accommodation. From the wood chip mill workers who earned a living here for four decades before us to now, we’re passionate about caring for the unceded land of the paredarerme people, the original gatherers and caretakers of Freestone Point. Eastcoaster Tasmania offers a range of accommodation set on the shores of the picturesque Spring Bay, located on the beautiful Tasmanian east coast. Standard rooms accommodate two to four guests and have an outlook over Spring Bay. Queen size beds feature throughout. You will find modern kitchenette facilities, colour televisions and en-suites. Cabins accommodate two to six guests, with either a double and two singles or a double and four singles. All cabins have cooking facilities, decks with outdoor settings and access to barbecues to help you enjoy your stay. Villas accommodate two to four guests with a queen and two single beds in each. All villas have modern cooking appliances and an outdoor setting to help you enjoy the panoramic views of Mercury Passage and Maria Island The resort has two swimming pools (outdoor and heated indoor), spa, gymnasium, squash and tennis courts, communal BBQ facilities, boat ramp and conferencing facilities. Our over-water Springbay Seafood and Wine Bar offers friendly service and succulent, freshly-caught local seafood and wines. Eastcoaster Tasmania is within a one hour drive from Hobart airport and provides a perfect base to explore Tasmania's magnificent east coast and The Great Eastern Drive.

Island Eden offers self-contained and bed and breakfast accommodation in Triabunna on Tasmania's East Coast. Enjoy comfortable accommodation in an ensuite room with a spa shower, where you can relax and listen to music from the built-in FM radio. The units are ideal for couples with a queen-size bed, and the studio apartment includes a sofa bed that can be used for a child. Guests with a disability are welcome as we have a room, especially for you with full wheelchair access and an accessible bathroom facility. Island Eden is a home away from home while exploring the beauty of the East Coast region, and features a fully fitted kitchen and dining area. French doors open to the deck where you can watch the birds or boats go by. There is a picnic barbecue area where you can enjoy the peace of the garden or soak up the sea view. Watch the sunrise over Spring Bay. Fish, boat, golf, surf or walk along sunny silver beaches nearby, or visit the beautiful and historic Maria Island or explore the rest of the beautiful East Coast. Triabunna is about a one-hour drive (84 km) north-east of Hobart.
