This is a hosted stay through Hipcamp, below is the information provided by the Host regarding their offering. River Bend Havens - Camping Located on the banks of the Mersey River, this picturesque location offers a mix of relaxation and adventure. Whether it be mountain biking on the near by Wild Mersey trails, fishing or swimming in the river or just enjoying the tranquility, this place offers that unique experience which is only 15mins from Latrobe. Our Campground is for self-contained vehicles only and all campers must have their own toilet. There are no dump point or rubbish bins onsite so all waste/rubbish must be taken on departure. Pets are most welcome but please keep them contained. All sites are on the northern end of the property as per signage. Camping in other areas of the property is prohibited. Strictly maximum of 2 camp vehicles (i.e. caravans/campers etc.) and 6 people per site. Please note: there is a water pump station at the northern part of the site on the opposite side of the river adjacent to sites 7-9. This pump station does emit some noise during periods of operation.

The Latrobe Working Hostel is a working hostel for travellers on Working Holiday Visas. The hostel offers job information and introductions. The accommodation varies in style from private two-person rooms or shared dormitories and is centrally located to Costa Berry Farms and vegetable processing factories. The town centre is five minutes' walking distance. There is public transport to Devonport City which is only ten minutes away. The Spirit of Tasmania ferry from Melbourne is a 10-minute drive away. Launceston city is a one-hour drive or bus from Launceston airport. Room rate includes all electricity and gas, all bed linen, and 24-hour high-speed Wi-Fi in every room.
