Beauty Point Tourist Park is situated on a peninsula, surrounded on both sides by the stunning Tamar River. Beauty Point is the ideal central location to explore all the Tamar Valley, Launceston and all the north has to offer whilst enjoying the tranquil surroundings. The fully self-contained cottages can accommodate two to nine guests, and all include modern cooking facilities, and each has an outdoor sitting area, others have river views. Camping has become glamorous with the addition of glamping tents. These beautifully appointed safari tents include a full ensuite and deck which overlooks the river. The park has powered sites that cater for caravans, campervans, motorhomes and tents. Some sites are even large enough for buses or the largest fifth-wheeler van. All sites have power, town water, sullage, large privacy hedges and ample room to move. The waterfront setting is enhanced by the adjoining conservation reserve and manicured grounds of the park.

Pomona (the ancient Roman Goddess of orchards) was built in 1896, a rambling estate house and original dwelling of builder/Politician Jens Jensen. It's three acres hosts an orchard and unparalleled views of the Tamar River. In the private self-contained guest apartment is an ensuite bedroom with a clawfoot bath, a fully equipped eat in kitchen with all modern appliances and a huge courtyard. Beauty Point Cottages provides self-catering and bed and breakfast accommodation on the Tamar River, Tasmania. The landscaped country gardens slope gently down towards the Tamar River.
