Welcome to our Australian Geographic exclusive Flinders Island Photography Workshop with Cameron Blake. Whether you are a novice or an experienced photographer, this tour is for everyone who loves photography and wants to improve their photography skills. Flinders Island is an incredibly special place located just off the northeast coast of Tasmania. The island consists of ancient rock formations, stunning beaches, beautiful flora and fauna and incredible sunrise and sunset opportunities. Our trip consists of fully exploring the island from top to bottom. Every day will be an adventure in photography on this beautiful island, from stunning rock formations to breathtaking views from high up across the island's mountains. As a photographer, this region offers some of the best scenery available in Tasmania – it's like a mini-Tassie on one island, and a diversity of landscapes to capture like nowhere else in Australia.

Embark on a seven-day birding and wildlife journey through southern Tasmania, exploring the remote Southwest Wilderness, Bruny Island, Maria Island and Hobart's nearby hotspots. Shaped by more than 10,000 years of isolation, Tasmania is home to 12 endemic bird species, including the forty-spotted pardalote, Tasmanian native-hen and green rosella as well as the critically endangered orange-bellied parrot. Along the way, you'll wander through buttongrass moorlands, tall wet forests, coastal heathland and sub-alpine habitat in search of island specialities, migratory waders and secretive scrub-birds. Nocturnal outings may reveal Tasmanian devils, eastern quolls and long-nosed potoroos, while Maria Island offers exceptional mammal viewing by day.
