
Ten Day Tasmanian Tour including Cradle Mountain and Wineglass Bay
Fly to Hobart and you'll be met by a coach on arrival and transported to the motel to settle in. You'll then spend a whole day at the Port Arthur Convict Settlement to hear and see the history of Australia's most infamous prison. The next day, tour Hobart including the city, Richmond, Mount Wellington (weather permitting), Botanical Gardens, Bonorong Wildlife Park and the Tasmanian Maritime Museum. In the afternoon stroll around the Hobart CBD for dinner on the wharf at your leisure. Continue to the West Coast to the impressive Russell Falls and "The Wall in the Wilderness", a grand artwork by a local artist. Visit Strahan for a cruise on the Gordon River, one of the most beautiful rivers in Australia. Tour through Stanley and on to Burnie and Devonport. View majestic Cradle Mountain from the picturesque Dove Lake, exploring the diverse vegetation at this altitude. Visit the Beaconsfield Mine and Heritage Centre before heading south along the Tamar River to Launceston. Walk through stunning Freycinet National Park to the lookout over Wineglass Bay. Explore the rolling lavender fields (in season) before your flight home, having fallen in love with Tasmania.
