From a boutique – and brand-new – expedition vessel, explore the remote southwest wilderness with daily guided walks, tender excursions, and bespoke itineraries in intimate groups. Scale countless mountain peaks for expansive wilderness views, and explore the sea caves, rivers and estuaries of breathtaking harbours. You’re in the hands of expert local guides, who double as walking encyclopedias, ecologists and environmentalists, tailoring itineraries and activities to guest interests. Arrive via scenic wilderness flight to a remote and spectacular harbour in Tasmania’s World Heritage Wilderness Area. Inaccessible by road, this wild corner of the Southwest National Park is only experienced by a privileged few each year. Over 4 unforgettable nights, explore the calm, reflective waters of Bathurst Harbour, ancient rainforests, buttongrass plains, and quartzite mountain peaks. Beyond Port Davey’s entrance, wander through a tea-tree forest and onto the untracked sands of a wild Southern Ocean beach, where there’s nothing between us and Antarctica. Spy rare and endangered wildlife, and learn of Tasmania’s Aboriginal people at the largest middens in the Southern Hemisphere. Admire the sunset over a glass of Tasmanian sparkling and a feast of farmer’s market produce and fresh oysters, before evening storytelling and stargazing.
