Your host, an oyster farmer and seasoned seafarer, will share stories of Tasmania's sustainable oyster industry and hard‑won craftsmanship behind every shell. Weather permitting, finish with a scenic cruise past Green Island Nature Reserve. Watch for seals, dolphins and maybe even whales gliding past. As your tour winds down, you'll be returned to Huntingfield Park & Ride. 19 Blue is a self-contained holiday cottage located at Blackmans Bay, in southern Tasmania. This homely cottage has been furnished with love and charm and has all you need for a comfortable stay with a queen-sized bed, laundry and kitchen facilities. Country breakfast ingredients are supplied for your first morning including a loaf of homemade bread, eggs from the resident chickens, Weetbix and muesli. Relax on the veranda overlooking the organic vegetable garden. Guests can stay home and prepare their own evening meal, help themselves to fruits in season, or try veggies harvested straight from the garden. It's only a short walk down to Blackmans Bay Beach where there are lovely restaurants. The nearby Bayview Shopping Centre has other eateries and a range of shops to purchase supplies. Your hosts are Judith and Chris Cornish, who like to provide the same home comforts that they enjoy when they go away. For Example you WILL find a pair of scissors and some sticky tape at 19 Blue! 19 Blue is only a short drive from Hobart. The Bruny Island Ferry is a twenty-minute drive away and the lovely Huon and Channel districts are right on the doorstep.

Cedar Cottages Blackmans Bay is a welcoming place to get away from it all and enjoy the beauty of Southern Tasmania. Located in the gorgeous seaside village of Blackmans Bay and only 15 minutes south of Hobart CBD. Cedar Cottage, a spacious single bathroom four-bedroom house, comfortably accommodates up to 8 people. The Country Cottage, a comfortable four bedroom two bathroom house, accommodates up to 10 people. The Country Suite, a modern three bedrooms one bathroom house, accommodates up to 8 people. The Cinnamon Cottage, a modern two bedrooms one bathroom house, accommodates up to 4 people. Cedar Loft, a studio apartment, sleeps, two adults and two children. Only a five-minute drive to Kingborough Sports Centre. In total, we can accommodate groups of up to 30. All cottages are fully furnished and self-contained, including linen and we, provide all of the items that you need to self-cater. Both locations have BBQ's provided. Blackmans Bay is a central base for exploring many great Tasmanian attractions, including The Antarctic Division Headquarters, The Huon Trail, Tahune Air Walk, Hastings Caves, Port Arthur, MONA Museum of Old and New Art and of course all the sites of Hobart.

The accommodation provides two queen and four single beds with two bathrooms. An additional porta cot and/or fold-out bed is available if required.
