You can depart on any day of your choice. The tour can be customised to your needs. We will supply a very detailed route-description from hotel to hotel with many tips. The route goes through the spectacular wilderness of the highland and alpine regions, much of it through very dramatic scenery in World Heritage listed areas. It is different to the East Coast, less populated with a rugged landscape and varying weather. You will have the opportunity to visit Cradle Mountain, Lake St. Clair and Mount Field National Parks and will pass through old mining towns like Queenstown and Zeehan. Although not essential, it helps if you have done a similar tour before and are not totally unfit. You can depart on any day of your choice. The tour can be customised to your needs. We will supply a very detailed route-description from hotel to hotel with many tips. The East Coast is a classic tourist route, more or less on the flat with pristine white beaches and a mild, dry and sunny climate. You will visit some beautiful historic towns, Freycinet National Park and also get the opportunity to spend time on world class beaches including the stunning Bay of Fires. From St. Helens there is a bus connection to Launceston and Hobart.
