Immerse yourself in the ultimate nature experience as you unwind at Arden Retreat. The Croft at Arden Retreat is a private, design-led cabin stay in bushland just outside Richmond, in Tasmania's Coal River Valley. Set among the gum trees, this two-bedroom retreat offers seclusion, warmth and a slower pace, with generous decks, thoughtful interiors, a wood-fired hot tub and an outdoor fire pit. Created for guests seeking privacy, stillness and time to reconnect, The Croft is a place to settle in and exhale. Mornings unfold slowly, afternoons stretch out on the deck, and evenings are shaped by firelight, forest air and dark skies. Just five minutes from Richmond and around 30 minutes from Hobart, The Croft feels quietly removed while still being close to wineries, historic sites, galleries and local dining. It is well suited to couples, and also works beautifully for a small family escape. Guests may also choose to book the onsite Arden Bathhouse separately, subject to availability.
