Branxholm Lodge

Created from an old service station that has been remodelled into a quirky Melbournian Style eatery. The Tuscan Fox was purchased in June 2015 with the aim to provide Wood fired Pizzas and hearty, tasty, nourishing food for locals and travellers alike. Gluten free options are available as well as vegan, vegetarian and keto. Relax on our leather lounge next to the fire in winter or outside dining is available for sunny afternoons in summer (currently BYO). We are adjacent to the Branxholm swimming pool and Centennial Park camping and a stone's throw from the Ringarooma River.

Located in the historical township of Branxholm Tasmania and housed in the old post office government building established in 1908. Tin Timbers Cafe is well well-known establishment creating locally baked traditional paddock to plate pies and other Tasmania country delicacies. The establishment houses a local arts and crafts gallery including hand-knitted Alpaca clothing. The grounds encompass beautiful distinctive gardens. Dine inside amongst the many local artworks for sale or visit the garden petting zoo next door features lots of variations of local varieties of chickens, goats, rabbits, and alpacas. Tin Timbers is a recognized TVIN Tasmanian-associated information center so please don't hesitate to call in for local knowledge and a chat with one of our staff on places to see and things to do in the local area. Tin Timbers is Licensed with local Beers on tap produced from the Hops located in fields across from the establishment. Branxholm is located and part of the Internationally recognised competitive Mountain Bike community with renowned biking tracks for all ages and heritage walking areas.

Casa Pinocchio is a small Italian Restaurant situated in an old historic Schoolhouse in northeast Tasmania favoured by locals, travellers and MTB enthusiasts. We serve authentic Italian cuisine, made and baked on-site. Enjoy a plate of delicious gnocchi, locally sourced Scallopina, pasta full of flavour, Italian-style pizza or calzone, cannoli, tiramisu or lemon curd tartlet, all featured on our extensive menu. We use fresh local produce, herbs from our garden, pork from Scottsdale and authentic Italian imported items to create and cook with. Choose a bottle of Italian wine or beer, Australian wine served in a carafe or start with a Negroni cocktail.
