Mewstone Wines is located 35 minutes south of Hobart on the stunning D"Entrecasteaux Channel. We are a winery/cellar door. The Tasting Room is open 11:00 am – 4:00 pm, Friday – Sunday. Flights are $25 each and include tastes of eight pre-selected wines. All booked tastings will be seated and your group will be hosted by one of our friendly cellar door staff. Locally sourced seasonal platters are also available, as is wine for take-home orders or for delivery. You are welcome to join our Wine Club – members receive a complimentary tasting, member pricing and more.

Located in Birches Bay, on the D'Entrecasteaux Channel, a 40-minute (40 km) drive south of Hobart. Walks through the farm, the forest Sculpture Trail and their kitchen garden are open all year round for a small charge. Dogs on lead are welcome. The farm hosts Art Farm Birchs Bay – an NFP community organisation dedicated to supporting artists and encouraging engagement with the rural and natural landscape. AFBB stages an annual sculpture exhibition of 25-30 outdoor pieces from November-January and some 20 permanent pieces adorn the walks for year-round interest. The property produces much of Australia's Tasmanian pepperberry crop, which is grown, dried and packaged at the farm and sold under the Diemen Pepper label. Products include packaged berries and leaf, vinegar and a range of native spices, all available in their self-serve produce pantry on the farm. Fivebob Wines is their latest edition to the farm with their initial vines being established in 2017. They grow Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Riesling grapes, that are expertly transformed into Fivebob vintages by local winemaker, Johnny Hughes. Their grapes are hand-picked & naturally fermented. 'The Venue', their picturesque function room is available for hire - perfect for both intimate and larger events, offering a fully equipped commercial kitchen and a generous outdoor deck overlooking lovely views of the D'Entrecasteaux channel and Five Bob Farm.

Art Farm Birchs Bay is a not-for-profit association established to foster engagement between community, artists, art and the landscape. The Art Farm hosts exhibitions, artist residency, art workshops and the renowned Sculpture Trail - an annual exhibition featuring Tasmanian and interstate artists, supported by private sponsorship and local government. Situated at Five Bob Farm, a unique coastal farm, a visit to the Art Farm includes meandering through fields of native pepper (Tasmannia lanceolata), irises, fruit orchards and an extensive kitchen garden.
