Detach from the modern world and recharge in a cosy, rustic cabin set in spectacular beauty. Here, you can fully relax and see an abundance of local wildlife, hike the Great Western Tiers for views of the Tasmanian Great Lakes, walk through world heritage listed rainforests, take a dip in the on-site swimming hole or relax by the firepit under an unparalleled dark night sky. Enjoy the sound of running water, fresh mountain air and crystal clear mountain streams in a pristine part of Tasmania. The cabin is filled with unique touches like the fire-heated bathtub overlooking the private creek and the hand-built swinging porch doors, solar power, propane and rainwater catchment for modern amenities like hot showers, running water, and electricity. There is a large, open kitchen/lounge room, as well as a toilet and shower downstairs and a loft upstairs housing two bedrooms. There are two bunk beds in one bedroom and a queen bed in the other, separated by a set of lockable doors. In addition to the indoor shower, there's an outside shower and bath located in a greenhouse attached to the main dwelling as well as a fire bath overlooking the stream. Water is fresh Tasmanian rain and mountain stream water gravity fed to the cabin.
