Felons Corner by Van Diemen Rise. 90 acres of dark forest, lofty views and rolling meadows overshadowed by a brooding mountain-scape in the heartland of Tasmania, conveniently nestled into the gateway to the iconic Cradle Mountain region. Offering unparalleled privacy a boutique, 2 bedroom cabin is worked into the fabric of the wilderness and walks a dangerous divide between hunting hideaway, industrial chic and unapologetic luxury. A sunken, deck bath is a highlight in any weather and offers a view of the towering Mount Roland, whilst the cute and furry wildlife grazes around you. Up-cycled, exposed beams and windows from the existing dwelling have been carefully restored and curated to frame an intimate interior, with all corners considered. Enjoy the twilight cacophony of birdsong in summer, or keep the Tasmanian winter chill at bay within the circle of firelight from the iconic, Tassie Barrel wood-heater. Exposed beams frame a lofty ceiling and bespoke stairs, to where the mezzanine awaits to embrace you. A fully equipped kitchen allows for the culinarily inspired with a large gas stove and oven. Take a short stroll from the house to crest the top of the hill and get high on the panorama. Views of the Gog Range, Mount Claude and of course, stunning centrepiece of it all the gothic grey, mist hugged heights of Mount Roland.
