Our accommodated tours include hotel/motel/lodge accommodation each evening with all meals provided, whilst our camping tours can include pre- and post-tour dormitory accommodation, transfers, hiking and camping gear, food and cooking equipment, first aid and communications equipment and national parks passes. Tours are led by experienced guide/s with specialist knowledge of the history, flora, fauna and geology of each destination.

We provide a comprehensive transport service for bushwalkers seeking to access Tasmania's walking tracks. With our convenient and flexible schedule, we have solved the problem of finding connecting transport to and from Hobart or Launceston Airports, and the many possible walking destinations around Tasmania. On demand, we will pick up bushwalkers either in Hobart CBD or Hobart Airport in our 14 seater bus, and will drop them off in time to connect with return flights. Bookings are essential for this service. We recommend contacting us first before you make your airline reservations so we can discuss your requirements, and coordinate your travel plans with our existing bookings and airport schedule. The minimum number of passengers is two. To confirm your booking you must pay the full fare at least seven days in advance of the scheduled pick-up date.

Ray Curran (owner-operator) has over 25 years of experience of wild trout fly fishing around Tasmania, with specific emphasis on rivers and streams of the Midlands. He caters for all levels of fly fishers from the absolute beginner to the widely experienced angler. Tours range from full day, to the client's requested duration and include where necessary, all gear, accommodation, all meals and refreshments, transport and fishing licenses, plus a complimentary (KOCPIT) fly fishing manual with all introductory workshops. In addition, Red Tag Trout Tours can also advise, quote and supply fly fishing outfits and accessories. Red Tag Trout Tours is based in Hobart so we can collect clients from the greater Hobart area and or the Hobart airport or by arrangement. All your guiding needs can and will be catered for.
