7K Distillery is the closest distillery to Hobart's CBD, just 10 minutes away - on the way to MONA! The very heart of our Derwent Park distillery is our handmade copper still. It was made by our founder Tyler - not many distilleries can claim that they’ve made their copper pot still, and it's what sets 7K apart. A tour of our modern distillery will give you a glimpse of how we master our craft and a sample of some of our award-winning gins and spirits with our hospitable team. Discover our extensive collection of heritage rolling-stock and locomotives, along with the history of the Derwent Valley Line and its importance in the development of the region. Guided tours of New Norfolk Station and our adjacent workshop facilities are available every Wednesday and Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm. Specialised tours for large groups, bus tours and school excursions are available upon request. Let us know ahead of time and we can organise lunch, morning or afternoon tea catering for you to enjoy during your visit.
