The spectacular Frenchman's Cap rises 1443 metres out of the Gordon-Franklin Wild Rivers National Park. The eastern side of the peak is home to Tasmania's oldest rock, an impressive 300 m overhanging rock wall face of Precambrian quartzite. This superb trek to Frenchman's Cap is a 46 km return journey over varying terrain including open button grass plains and dense rainforests with steep ascents. Amidst this truly wild area you will discover an abundance of wildlife including many endemic bird species. By allowing five days of walking and camping under the summit, the carefully thought out itinerary allows a greater chance of visiting the peak in fine weather. From the summit you will be rewarded with spectacular views throughout the Tasmanian wilderness including Mt. Ossa, the Arthur Range and Macquarie Harbour.

The only way into The Walls of Jerusalem National Park is by foot, this remote untouched wilderness is only available to a select few. Our 4 day trek takes us into the heart of the Central Walls area where we camp for three nights. We have the luxury of some day pack walking on day two and three, so we can make the most of this spectacular place and get to the mountain peaks and remoter sections of the park a little easier. Three days of paddling through fun rapids and some of the most spectacular campsites you will ever come across. The packrafts we use are stable and easy to paddle, meaning no previous experience is required - just a good level of fitness, ability to swim and a sense of adventure. This is an immersive wilderness experience through a stunning gorge that few get to see. We usually see platypus every day of the tour.
