The cabin sits on 1.7 private acres, giving guests space and tranquillity in a peaceful, natural setting. Located around one hour and fifteen minutes from Hobart, Maydena Alpine Retreat is close to some of Tasmania's most remarkable landscapes. Guests can explore Mount Field National Park with its cascading waterfalls, mountain lakes and ancient alpine forests. They can wander among the towering trees of the Styx Valley, or venture further to Lake Pedder and the Gordon Dam. For adventure, the retreat is near the world-class Maydena Bike Park, and Tassie Bound Adventure Tours offer guided kayaking with the chance to see platypus in their natural habitat. After days filled with exploration, guests return to a contemporary, elegant space created for deep relaxation and slow, restorative moments. Adults-only. Non-smoking property.
