Mt Field Campground

Mt Field Camping
Mt Field Campground is a campground within Mt Field National Park, managed by the Parks and Wildlife Service Tasmania. This pleasant campground is set in the forest beside the pretty Tyenna River - just a few minutes walk from the Visitor Centre. There are 14 powered sites as well as a range of unpowered sites. Spaces are suitable for campervans and caravans as well as tents. Facilities include a toilet and shower block, coin-operated washing machines and clothes driers, communal cooking shelter including sink and hot water and free electric barbecues. Bookings are not taken for campsites and instead it is run on a first-in basis. For the best chance of finding a vacant site it is advised to arrive at the campground by mid-morning as checkout time is 10am. Payments for camping can be made at either the campgrounds's self registration booth (cash payments only) or at the Visitor Centre during operating hours. Total site number and capacity are estimates only. Please follow the link for further information about this campground.
