Ogee
The ogee arch, in architectural terms, is symbolic of a meeting place of two curves. It's from this that they chose the name Ogee to represent their small space. A meeting place, here on a small corner in North Hobart's outskirts, where they want to celebrate the simplistic beauty of great food, great wine, and sharing it with great company. 28 seats, the epitome of a small neighbourhood restaurant, inspired by the timeless quality of European bistros. They take influence from everything local and Tasmanian in all of it's glory, alongside French and Italian cultural and culinary traditions, to present something humble, yet finessed. This is their home, and they hope you feel as comfortable here as we do.
