The View
‘Schawfields Cottage’, is a one-hundred-year-old former workman’s cottage that sits prettily among the rolling hills of Dunorlan, Tasmania. Perfectly located in lush farmland, midway between Launceston and Devonport and only 10 minutes from Deloraine. It is a thoughtfully renovated two-bedroom cottage, sympathetic to its surroundings. A welcoming space, perfect for 2-4 people to spend some time away from it all. There are two bedrooms - one queen bed and two singles which can be converted to an indulgent king bed if two couples are staying. All decked out in beautiful soft French linen, luxurious pillows, woollen blankets, doonas and electric blankets to ensure you have the most relaxing sleep possible. The newly appointed kitchen has all the amenities you need to be self-sufficient and we provide a simple breakfast of eggs, bread, milk and also a pantry of tea and coffee, granola, olive oil, salt and pepper. Needing a Netflix fix or to catch up on some work? We have got you covered, with high-speed complimentary WiFi access and a smart TV. Expansive views from every window, a verandah to watch the sunset from, an outdoor bath for soaking, a fire to stare into and soft beds for sinking into. Welcome to ‘Schawfields Cottage’ - a sanctuary to the weary, a soft place to fall.
