Glow Tour is the most unique way to view Australian animals in Tasmania, this Winter. Hosted by Dr Lisa Gershwin, voted a ‘Top 100 Australian scientist’, don’t miss this hands-on, after dark exploration of natural biofluorescence. Your ticket will secure you a place in a small group tour of East Coast Natureworld, after dark. Guided by biologist, Dr Lisa Gershwin and a Natureworld keeper, you will experience the incredible phenomenon of natural biofluorescence. Shine your supplied UV torch at a selection of animals which may include spotted quolls, Tasmanian devils, golden possums, parrots, owls and a few surprise guests to see them glow in the dark! HURRY! Glow Tour runs from 28th June - 15th July, four nights a week, Friday - Monday.

It's as wild and natural as it gets, an unforgettable after-dark experience watching Tasmanian Devils devour their dinner, while you enjoy some of Tasmania's finest wine and cheese. You’ll be undercover in a spacious hide, watching as if you were a filmmaker for National Geographic, inches away and literally eye to eye with the world's largest carnivorous marsupial. Devils in the Dark tour is operated by East Coast Nature world, the development of this tour was seen as a way to help raise awareness of this endangered species. It's the only way to see how devils behave in the wild and we take every effort to replicate this fascinating behaviour. This tour is exclusive, maximum of 16 people for approximately 90 minutes.

East Coast Natureworld is the perfect place to experience Tasmania's unique wildlife. Offering daily Tasmanian Devil feeding presentations, wildlife encounters and for a more exclusive option join a Devils in the Dark tour. 150 acres of native coastal bushland and lagoons that allows you to wander around at your own leisure. There is a wide range of wildlife, both free roaming and wild in the sanctuary grounds, along with some rescued and rehabilitated. Wheelchair and pram-friendly paths allow all to experience the uniqueness of Tasmania up close. Animal feeding times are available on the East Coast Natureworld website. Food and drink is served for most of the day in the Gallery Cafe, overlooking a beautiful vista with a playground, kangaroo paddock and lagoon. The gift shop has a wide range of souvenirs with a wildlife and Tasmanian theme. Bicheno is a two-hour-15-minute drive (177 kilometres) from Hobart.
