Accommodation

Spring Bay Hotel

Spring Bay Hotel
The Spring Bay Hotel is basic but impeccably clean and is situated in Triabunna. It is one hour’s drive from Hobart and suitable for adults seeking budget priced accommodation, good meals and a warm welcome in this quiet fishing township on the sunny east coast of Tasmania. Catch the ferry to beautiful Maria Island, a very special place where historic ruins, silver beaches, mountain and coastal walks await. Don't trip over the Cape Barren geese, wallabies and possums - they are the only creature living there, apart from the Park Rangers and numerous more shy wildlife. The area is well equipped for those people seeking outdoor and sporting activities with a beautifully manicured nine-hole golf course only a five-minute drive away in Orford. There is also a bowls club and tennis courts nearby. There is some excellent local fishing both estuary and deep sea. Your hosts will only be too happy to offer any advice to make your stay a very enjoyable experience. Triabunna is a great place to base yourself and enjoy the many and varied attractions on the east coast of Tasmania. Stay one night or one week - you will be most welcome!
