Hobart's finest underground cocktail bar, specialising in Tasmanian gin and whisky, established in 2015. Society's impressive backbar is the centrepiece of the venue. Displaying a collection of over 500 rare and wonderful spirits, made accessible with a sliding ladder, reminiscent of a Disney fairy tale. Sip on one of Society's signature cocktails. Or sit down and enjoy a gin tasting platter. Featuring four different gins, matching garnishes and their own house-made tonic water, designed to highlight the delicate botanicals found in Tasmanian gin. Whisky tasting platters are also available, allowing guests to discover and compare, award-winning Tasmanian single malts. Society also hosts regular special events, which have a loyal local following including happy hour, drag bingo, trivia nights and disco DJ sets.

Markree House Museum and Garden is a hidden gem located in inner-city Hobart. The house, interiors and garden all reflect the influence of the British Arts and Crafts Movement. Markree was designed in 1925 by architect Bernard Ridley Walker for Cecil and Ruth Baldwin. The house contains its original 1910s-20s furnishings together with older portraits and family heirlooms from Ruth Baldwin's family. Markree's rare 1920s garden was laid out by Cecil Baldwin in an informal Arts and Crafts Movement style. Cecil and Ruth Baldwin's son, Henry (1919-2007), bequeathed the house to the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery. Markree specialises in the social history and design of the early 20th century. Narryna was built by merchant, Captain Andrew Haig in 1835-40. Haig had previously built Salamanca Place's earliest warehouses. Located at the gateway to Battery Point, Narryna's architecture, interiors, collection and heritage garden provide a rich experience of early colonial life in Tasmania.
