Stumpy's Bay Campgrounds

Stumpy's Bay Campgrounds include 4 campgrounds (Stumpy's Bay 1, 2, 3 and 4) which are located in Mount William National Park, managed by the Parks and Wildlife Service Tasmania. The four Stumpys Bay sites are well sheltered and close to the beach. There’s a good chance you’ll see wallabies around the campground, and wake to the sound of kookaburras. The campgrounds are suitable for tents, and small to medium-sized caravans and motorhomes can be accommodated, except in Stumpys 2, which is a Fuel Stove Only Area and cannot accommodate caravans or motorhomes. The campgrounds have pit toilets, but there is no drinking water or power supply. No bookings are required. Camping fees apply, there is a deposit box at Stumpy's Bay 1. Total site number and capacity are estimates only. Always check local signage and the PWS website for campfire restrictions before lighting a campfire.
