Pick your own delicious blueberries at Old Beach Berries farm, Southern Tasmania. Stroll through the orchard, listen to the birds and collect a bucket (or more) of sweet blueberries. Picking your own fruit is a perfect way to enjoy time outdoors. Old Beach Berries is 25 minutes from Hobart, on the way to the Midlands, the North, the Coal River region, and the East Coast. Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary is just a few minutes up the road. Our scrumptious blueberries are grown using a regenerative agriculture approach. No pesticides or herbicides are used. The fresh berry season at Old Beach Berries runs from January to late February / early of March, with an abundance of ripe blueberries to be picked. There is free parking and a small entry fee for adults. If you are a return visitor, you only have to pay once for the whole season. You pay by weight for the blueberries that you pick. Even better, you can taste as you go. A wonderful team of friendly people are ready to share the farm with you. Get a taste of rural life with a fun farm experience for the whole family. If you don't feel like picking, there are first-grade pre-picked blueberries available for sale. Blueberry icecream and slushies are also available. Bookings are recommended for pick-you-own.

Waterbridge is a one stop shop for all your fresh fruit, vegetables, jams, chutneys, relishes and frozen meals. Shop in store or we deliver to your door! Staff and volunteers cook delicious healthy meals and sell fresh affordable food. Two community gardens in Bridgewater and Gagebrook provide garden produce to supply the Waterbridge Food Pantry. The Food Pantry sells low-cost healthy food. This includes a range of jams, relishes and sauces, ready to eat frozen meals, desserts and fresh veggie boxes. Deliveries within Bridgewater, Gagebrook and Herdsmans Cove are $5.00. All other deliveries incur a $10 delivery fee. The Waterbridge Food Pantry is open to the public Monday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm.

Bonorong is a Sanctuary for wildlife run by a passionate team of like-minded people. We're a social enterprise: a little business with a big heart. Just 30 minutes north of Hobart's CBD, we are home to many animals, including Tasmanian devils, wombats, echidnas, birds, quolls and more. We also have free-roaming Forester kangaroos who are always keen for a good scratch on the chest and some gentle hand feeding (roo food included with entry). A visit to Bonorong is not complete without joining one of our daily guided tours. These tours are free with entry and give you the opportunity to meet some of our most popular locals: the wombats, devils and echidnas. You will hear little-known facts and stories of the wildlife in our care. Tour groups, school groups and after-school groups can all be catered for with private tours and more. We have a Food Hut onsite, making it a great stop for lunch with 100% plant-based meals. Bonorong is easily accessible by car, with free parking onsite.
