Thalia Haven is set on a private 130-acre peninsula surrounded by the crystal-clear waters of Great Oyster Bay. Five kilometres of secluded coastline include your own exclusive golden-sand beach. Accommodation is in four stone cottages clustered around olive-tree courtyards on the ocean's edge. The residence is a showcase of self-reliance: your water, electricity, and warmth are drawn from Thalia's land, breezes, and sunshine. Rustic, indeed, yet with the comforts you need to relax, enjoy, and explore. Awake to the sound of the sea, as the rising sun's rays play on the Hazards of Freycinet. Rock-hop and wander on your beach. Prepare a gourmet extravaganza in your professionally equipped kitchen. Relax by a roaring fire or under the stars in the outdoor bath. Thalia's four buildings have beds for ten people. Your group will find ample room to cook, eat, and play together. There are cosy open fireplaces in the dining and living rooms. The arrangement of bedrooms offers space to be together - or apart. And you are ideally located to take advantage of all the East Coast offers: 80 km from Hobart airport, with Wineglass Bay, Bicheno, Maria Island, and the East Coast wineries, all day trips from Thalia.
