Every first and third Sunday of the month from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Lunawanna Makers and Produce Market is sure to inspire. Held in South Bruny Island's historic Lunawanna Memorial Hall, a wood fire creates a warm and friendly atmosphere. No matter what the weather is, you will stay warm and dry inside the hall. This is a community market where everyone is welcome. During the winter months, the market is held once a month on the third Sunday. Hot food is served up from the kitchen with gourmet pizza and fresh pies produced on site. You can help yourself to a cup of tea to help support local charities. Local fresh garden produce, jams, pickles, honey, biscuits, and cakes are available. Plus, we have some very talented artisans on the island who showcase their work. This includes professional photography, paintings, woodwork, basketry, ceramics, crochet, weaving, alpaca wool, skin care products, art prints and fabric crafts. We also have gin tasting of Spirit of Bruny's award-winning White Wallaby Gin. Smiles welcome you on arrival, we look forward to seeing you!

Bruny Island Premium Wines, Cellar Door and Restaurant is situated on Bruny Island in Tasmania's South. Carved from bush and pasture land on the outskirts of the settlement of Lunawanna, is Australia's southernmost vineyard. Owned and operated by a direct descendent of one of Bruny Island's first settlers, Bernice Dillon. Bruny Island Premium Wines is open for all day lunch, seven days a week all year round and Saturday nights during daylight savings, in a relaxed alfresco dining area overlooking the vineyard. An extensive menu specialising in local produce, all perfectly matched with their premium cool climate wines. The vineyard, established in 1998, is set on a gently-sloping site with a sunny north-westerly aspect. In an ideal season, Tasmania's calm, clear autumn days are perfect for the slow fruit-ripening conditions needed to create premium cool-climate wines. Their wines are grown, made and bottled by hand on site. The Cellar Door opened in 2005, constructed with timber from the original vineyard site, and offers tastings and sales.

Inala Nature Tours offers personalised birdwatching and wildlife tours of Bruny Island and Tasmania. It is based on Inala, a 1500 acre nature refuge on Bruny Island, which is home to six threatened bird species, all 12 Tasmanian endemic birds, echidnas, and white wallabies. It features Australia's only hide tailor made for raptor viewing and a canopy platform that provides close views of the endangered Tasmanian endemic bird, the forty spotted pardalote. Inala is also a wildlife rehabilitation centre. Accommodation is available on the property. Each tour is personally designed, and may be partially or fully guided. Tour packages range from a walking tour at Inala, and full day tours of Bruny Island, to longer tours around Tasmania to see a variety of birds in their natural habitats, including the critically endangered orange-bellied parrot, as well as Tasmanian devils, wombats, kangaroos, and platypus. Join their night tours on Bruny Island to see penguins, quolls, potoroos, wallabies and possums. They have also licensed travel agents and can book all your travel and accommodation arrangements. Their guides have detailed knowledge of the Tasmanian flora and fauna. The owner, Dr. Tonia Cochran, is a trained botanist, zoologist and specialist birdwatching/wildlife guide with experience in leading tours throughout Australia.
