Doo-Lishus is a family owned and run business, operating for the last 25 years, out of the same place - The Blow Hole, Doo Town Eagle Hawk Neck. Doo-Lishus is a seafood and ice cream van, located in the car park at the Blow Hole. It is a beautiful place to visit, Plenty of things to look at and enjoy, there is the Blow Hole with some viewing platforms Fossil Bay, the lookout which looks up and down the coast, as well as the sea cliffs, The wharf and see what is being caught as well as a nice walk on the beach. They have specialty ice creams, scoop ice cream, Hot Coffee and cold drinks, hot seafood, Fisherman's Catch, scallop & chips, Family Feast and more yummy food. The fish and squid are hand cut and crumbed and scallops and prawns are crumbed each day fresh. The staff are always friendly and ready to help nothing is ever a problem, they try to keep the wait time as short as possible.

The isthmus of land only a few hundred metres wide at Eaglehawk Neck is the reason Port Arthur was chosen as the site for a prison - the tiny strip of land was easily patrolled, and in those times few were able to swim and make a break for it that way. A line of dogs, tethered at short intervals, roused the soldiers if anyone tried to get by. The Officers Quarters has been restored as a museum interpreting the history and life at Eaglehawk Neck. The 1832 quarters is reputed to be the oldest wooden military building remaining in Australia.

Lufra's Cafe and Bistro, situated at Lufra Hotel and Apartments, offers relaxed dining with unbeatable views of the sunset and moonrise over Pirates Bay. Enjoy a locally inspired menu featuring Tasmanian seafood, regional meats, and a special kids' menu. Serving hot lunch, cafe food & takeaways, hot & cold drinks throughout the day and dinner in the evenings. It is an ideal stop off point on the way to Port Arthur, especially if you want to take in the Tessellated Pavements which is situated right in our front yard. The menu features seafood and contemporary Australian style Bistro foods. The relocated Lufra Family Bar & Patio Area boasts one of the best views in the world looking out across Pirates Bay. Darts & 8 Ball games can be played in the Lounge Bar.
