The Tree House offers self-contained accommodation on Bruny Island, off Tasmania's south coast. Bruny Island is accessed by a 15-minute car ferry from the town of Kettering, a 40-minute drive south of Hobart (34 kilometres/21 miles). The Tree House is a two-storey timber home at Alonnah - a village on the west coast of South Bruny Island. Surrounded by native bush and overlooking the sea, the two bedroom property comfortably accommodates four people in two queen beds. The house features an open-plan living area with polished timber floors, a wood heater, air conditioning, and sweeping views from three outdoor decks. You can prepare your own home-cooked meals prepared with fresh Tasmanian produce in the fully-equipped, modern kitchen or enjoy a barbecue on the deck and soak up ocean views that stretch to the horizon. Go swimming, wander the nearby coastal tracks or go bushwalking in South Bruny National Park. Join an eco-cruise with Bruny Island Cruises or visit the extraordinary HIBA - a property on the east coast of South Bruny Island - to sample mouth-watering Bruny Island Fudge and stroll through stunning gardens.
