Salty Splash on the East Coast of Tasmania in beautiful Bicheno is a great place to stop for a meal. They offer a dine in service or takeaway. Hot and cold drinks are available, and the hot chocolates have a special ingredient that makes them divine. On your way home from Freycinet or Douglas Apsley National Park treat yourself by not having to cook. Located in between the Log Cabin General Store and the Farmshed East Coast Wine Centre. It is an ideal stop to fill up before exploring more of the town. A short walk from the Bicheno Blowhole, Penguin Tours, Whalers Lookout and Waubs Bay. Grab some takeaway and enjoy a picnic at one of the many stunning spots around town.

Redbill Beach is the main surfing beach for Bicheno. The 1 km long beach curves round between the Diamond Island spit and the southern rocks of Redbill Point and faces east out of the small bay. At low tide and weather permitting you can walk out to Diamond Island with caution. A 1.5 km long foreshore walking track leads from the Redbill Point around past Lynes Point to Waubs Bay.

Welcome to the Bicheno Golf Club. The club is located on the sunny east coast of Tasmania about 5 km north of the town of Bicheno. The course currently consists of 9 holes and 18 tees both the course and greens are fully irrigated to provide excellent playing conditions all year-round. We have a fully-equipped clubhouse and the course is open seven days a week for play. The clubhouse is open with full bar facilities every week on Wednesday, Friday & Saturday; on other days there is an honour system located in the foyer for green fee payment. Visitor green fees are $20 per day - unlimited holes. Social Golf fees are also available. $50 per week or $100 per month. All holders of a Golf Link Number are very welcome to play in our Saturday Competitions. Membership is currently open. There are no associate memberships - both ladies and men have equal rights. Club and pull buggies are available. Electric cart is available for $30.00 a round.
