Welcome to Travellers Rest. Situated in the picturesque seaside town of Bicheno. This property is engulfed in nature and overlooks Diamond Island and the crystal clear beaches of the East Coast. The home has been designed to encourage relaxation, romance and exploration. Situated a short four min drive to town, 15 mins to Douglas Apsley, 30 mins to Freycinet and 25 mins to the East Coast Wine Region. Travellers Rest is a two bed, two bath home that has been thoughtfully curated through objects, decor and furnishings celebrating craftsmanship of the past and present, showcasing local and Australian sourced products. With exposed wooden beams, Huon Pine tree trunks running through the centre of the house and a romantic wood burner fire, this cozy and charming home exudes character and reflects the surrounding environment with it's natural characteristics bringing the outside, in. The house is conveniently located close to local shops and cafes while also offering privacy and the feeling of a quiet retreat with only one neighbouring property. The living room, kitchen and master bedroom have unique and captivating views overlooking Diamond Island while the rest of the property overlooks the wilderness. The house is surrounded by wildlife including the famous fairy penguins across the road and you can often spot echidnas, wombats, deer, birds and whales out one of the windows.
