The Kookaburra Cottage in Cressy Tasmania is just 15 min from Launceston airport and 20 min to Launceston city. The cottage is fully self-contained and sleeps 3 adults having a separate bedroom containing a queen bed and king single day bed for the third guest located in the lounge room. The kitchen has all your cooking requirements and the laundry has a washing machine and dryer for longer stays. Guests have their own car park next to the cottage accessed by a shared driveway to the rear of the block. The cottage is sign posted on the white picket fence in front of the cottage. The cottage comes with extra blankets and knee rugs if required, although ample heating and cooling is provided with a large reverse cycle air conditioner. The walls, roof and flooring has been insulated and there are double-glazed windows. The cottage is self-check-in with a lockbox beside the front door. Cressy township was established in 1848, 'Kookaburra Cottage' is only a few minutes walk to the award-winning 'Rustic Bakehouse' and the Ringwood Hotel that boasts famous country style meals for dinner. The 'Rustic Roadhouse' also supplies delicious meals and smoothies and tea's.
