Grey Sands specialises in intensely flavoured wines and they do the initial cellaring for you. The vineyard is unirrigated, hand pruned and picked and produces wines with maximum concentration of flavours (not maximum yield) which give a true expression of the site in which they are grown. All grapes used in Grey Sands wines are grown exclusively at Grey Sands Vineyard. Offering seven different red wines, four white wines & a rose which are made from 17 different varieties of grapes. Lone Goose Farm grows Muscovy ducks for Tasmania's top restaurants. Located a 30 minute drive from Launceston, they open the farm for public tours in summer. This is more than a farm tour, it's an invitation to slow down, feel closer to the land and the stories behind your food. Indulge in the very best of Tasmania's farming, food and wine culture at Lone Goose Farm. Tours run seasonally and are limited to three small group tours per week. During the warmer Summer months, there are plenty of ducklings and the farm is at its best. On the tour you'll: - Walk the farm, and learn how the ducks are cared for at each stage of life. - Hold a duckling and give the Jersey cows a scratch. - Spend unhurried time outdoors with the animals and the people who care for them. After the tour, you're welcome to stay on and enjoy a relaxed lunch by the dam and experience living at Lone Goose Farm. The grazing board happily feeds two people and showcases some of the best produce from the island. The Farm is licensed, so you can enjoy a bottle of wine whilst you graze away. They've chosen some of their favourite Tasmanian wines – they might just have a glass with you.

Winter Brook Vineyard hand-makes spectacular, limited-release, estate wines brought to you via the Cellar Door in the beautiful Tamar Valley of Tasmania. They are only a stunning, scenic 30-minute drive north of Launceston. Winter Brook Vineyard produces high-quality fruit that is hand-picked to develop fine-quality wines in the winery onsite. The annual release of wines is about 10,000 bottles across all varieties (about 900 cases). Sandy Gibson's dream of owning, operating, and living all things vines and wines means that the focus is producing boutique, hand-crafted wines, and enjoying every step along the way. This is why they have limited availability to their wines to ensure that these fabulous and highly desired bottles are available to visitors to the Cellar Door or Online. The Cellar Door is open Thursday to Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm for tastings, glass and bottle sales, and pick your own providore of Tasmanian produced cheese and cured meats.
