Established to celebrate the stunning surf breaks and iconic landmarks of Tasmania's east coast, each brew tells a story of local pride and connection to place. From the crisp Suntrap Session Ale to the golden hues of Little Lenny's Lager and their flagship Peggy's Point Pale—inspired by the vibrant orange lichen-covered rocks of its namesake—every sip is a tribute to Bicheno's rugged beauty. At the heart of Bicheno Beer Co.'s brand is the little penguin, designed by east coast artist Dane Chisholm, symbolising community spirit and local craftsmanship. Bicheno Beer Co.'s brewery and taproom is a reflection of the region's spirit—relaxed, open-hearted, and full of flavour. With views over Whalers Lookout and glimpses of the ocean framed by Tasmania's vast sky, this indoor-outdoor laneway space is poised to become a gathering place for locals and visitors alike. The taproom embraces Bicheno's natural palette, offering the perfect backdrop to enjoy a fresh pint while soaking in the serene coastal atmosphere. The Farm Shed East Coast Wine Centre showcases the magnificent wines of the region, incorporating guided wine, gin and whisky tasting flights and sales, as well as a retail space for Tasmanian artists and craftspeople. The Farm Shed offers tastings and sales of wines from all 24 producers on Tasmania's East Coast, including more than half of these that do not have their own cellar door. We also provide tastings and sales of artisan, small-batch, boutique local whiskies and gins, as well as housing a retail space for curated wines from other regions in the state. In addition to the Farm Shed's own offering, we also offer SweetBrew Coffee from 8am-12 seven days a week. Furthermore, our building is home to Bicheno Brewing (Bich); a small-batch craft beer establishment with tasty brews being crafted right here in Bicheno by Head Brewer Chris Zygmunt. Additionally, visitors to the Farm Shed, plus those from all corners of the country, are invited to sign up to our exclusive Wine Club; a carefully curated box of six premium East Coast wines (three white, three red) each quarter of the year, reflective of the season and delivered anywhere within Australia. The Farm Shed is open daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm for tastings, drinks and sales.
