The Strahan Wilderness Lodge C1890 was built as the North Lyell Mine Managers residence in Gormanston. In the 1980s the home was moved to Strahan in a position over-looking Macquarie Harbour and the fishing fleet of Mill Bay. Choose from a self-contained harbour view suite with a kitchenette and bathroom, one of our standard queen rooms with a fridge/kettle. Our two economy rooms have use of the shared kitchenette. All rooms have a private en-suite bathroom. The shared lounge and dining room has a fridge, microwave, toaster, tea and coffee making. The large windows overlook the garden, birdlife and water views. Guests can use the BBQ facilities, fire pot and picnic spots overlooking Macquarie Harbour. Surrounded by nature and only 3 minutes drive to the centre of town. BOOK DIRECT AND SAVE.
