Rosevears Hotel is the best place to base yourself to explore the Tamar River Region & Tamar Valley Wine Trail. Opened January 2017, with stunning views of one of the most scenic spots on the Tamar River, this is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Rosevears Hotel has 26 contemporary hotel rooms consisting of one bedroom, two bedroom and Spa rooms complete with outdoor Jacuzzi. Each room has a luxury king size bed and spectacular 180 degree views of the picturesque Tamar River. King beds can be configured as twin singles upon request.

Olive's Cottage offers self-contained accommodation at Windermere on the Tamar River. It has ATAP accreditation from Tasmania. Olive's has an airy, welcoming feel amidst all the mod cons, including fast free Wi-Fi, for the discerning traveller and food and wine lover. The cottage has a combined lounge, kitchen and dining room, leading to extensive decking. The roomy main bedroom has a king size bed and its own ensuite and a quiet sitting area, looking out over the lawns and river. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. There is a second bathroom with a washing machine. The fully-landscaped gardens lead to mesmerising views over the Tamar and beyond. For the food and wine lover, there is an extensive library of cookbooks, fruit trees, a herb garden and a barbecue pit. Rates include first-day starter breakfast provisions, ground coffee and a Nespresso machine, and a complimentary bottle of local wine. You have sole occupancy of the property. Windermere is on a beautiful section of the eastern Tamar with easy access to historic towns, mountains, beaches, berry farms, orchards and wineries, fine restaurants and gourmet produce. Windermere is a 15-minute drive (20 km) north of Launceston.
