Japhy on the Jetty

The corrugated surface of the building a bright painting an Oyster Catcher perches on a strawberry
A pink and blue bird on pink plants
The public toilets and other shelters on Jetty Road have been adorned with art, colourfully illuminated with scenes of Tasmanian wildlife designed by street artist Japhy (Thomas Chandler), and painted by him and some enthusiastic helpers from the community. Apart from the wonderful art and the obvious convenience that conveniences provide, you may also enjoy the grand vista of the Kanamaluka/Tamar River, launch a boat from the jetty or have a picnic, Hillwood has it all !
