Stephanie Tabram | "The River" | Exhibition

Painting of a river bend with abandoned shed on hill side above.
This highly anticipated exhibition by Stephanie Tabram traces the River Derwent from its rugged source on Tasmania's Central Plateau, through the highlands and Derwent Valley, and finally into suburban Hobart. Tabram's enduring connection with the river forms a meditation on water as a living system—one that links past and present, land and memory, and observation with making. The river's shifting moods—its light, colour, and movement—are central to her work. Stay in touch by signing up to our mailing list to receive advance previews of upcoming exhibitions.
