Icena Farm Accommodation is a two-hour drive from Launceston near Mount William National Park, close to the Bay of Fires and the Musselroe River. Icena Farm Accommodation caters for couples and family holidays, backpackers and group accommodations in Tasmania's north-east. Icena's two spacious, fully self-contained homes each have four bedrooms with queen or twin beds and two-four bathrooms. Each house has an outdoor eating area and barbecue. An additional cottage with a bathroom and kitchenette offers single or couple accommodation. Group quarters consist of six individual rooms, each with twin beds and serviced by a communal kitchen, recreation room, shower, toilet and laundry block. Catering can be arranged for group bookings. Opportunities abound for bushwalking, fishing, bird and animal watching, kayaking, cycling or just simply sundowning, followed by an end of day barbecue. Forester kangaroos and Rufus wallabies graze amongst wombats as wedge-tailed eagles soar overhead.

The Keep is a bespoke double storey building perched on a 650m rocky outcrop with 360 degree views of the Blue Tier and the entire North Eastern coastline. Built for a romantic escape outside the contemporary abode there is a wonderful stone outdoor bath fit for two, complete with Tasmanian aromatic bath bombs. Three private and enchanting walks surround you on the property, and a handcrafted granite fireplace lets you sit and stare into the flames as humanity has done for millennia. A place to truly reconnect with each other and nature with all the luxurious creature comforts you could need.

The Dales of Derby is purpose-built group accommodation catering for groups of up to 24 people. The contemporary architecture comprises a warm interior with thoughtful attention to detail and is arranged to ensure a natural flow for even the largest group. The generous common area with a wood heater and full kitchen forms the hub of the building. This is a place to gather in the mornings for breakfast and to plan the adventures of the day ahead, then regroup in the evenings to recount your feats and discoveries. Includes an outdoor undercover deck and BBQ, generous bike shed, and disabled access/bathroom facilities. When it’s finally time to wind up for the evening, retire to the comfortable sleeping area. Four rooms feature queen-sized beds and the remaining two rooms in the sleeping area contain group bunk bed accommodations for 16. Settled on the banks of the Ringarooma River, the Dales offer a perfect hub for groups wanting to enjoy the serene surrounds or experience the world-class mountain biking the area is famous for. The Dales was awarded the 2019 Barry McNeill Award for Sustainable Architecture and the Commercial Architecture Award by the Australian Institute of Architecture, Tasmanian Chapter.
