You can't beat the quaint little seaside village of Stanley on Tasmania's North West Coast. Stanley is the ideal base for exploring all the natural beauty and attractions the region has to offer. It is within walking distance to beaches, food outlets, restaurants, Hotel, Post Office, and local sights including the Nut and Penguin Rookery. There is an excellent cafe on-site using an abundance of local fresh produce open 5 days a week (Closed Mondays & Tuesdays) (Open most Public Holidays except Good Friday & Christmas Day). A small collection of fine Tasmanian products, complete the small complex which, with its cobblestone walkways and old street lamps, is reminiscent of an English scene! All four cottages are four-star self-rated and decorated in a colonial style blended with modern touches. They are well-appointed, full of character and charm and extremely comfortable and warm, with ocean and mountain views. All are fully self-contained. You simply cannot beat the location

Enjoy a room with a view - either over the town, towards 'The Nut', along sandy beaches or the rolling green hills. Perfect location, out the front door onto Church Street with cafes, galleries and quaint shops along the street next to the Stanley Hotel. All rooms have refurbished bathrooms and comfortable beds. A couple of rooms open onto the large verandah and deck. Typical of the era, all 10 rooms are upstairs and have to accommodate the quirks of an 1830’s building.

Abbey's Green House' is located in the centre of Stanley, walking distance to restaurants, cafes, shops and galleries. The house features views over the sea, the hills and up to Highfield House and The Nut. The beach is at the end of the street, take a stroll after dinner to see penguins arriving on the beach from the penguin viewing platform. Featuring a sunny verandah to take in the view, and a large, light kitchen/dining/lounge the property is ideal if you would like to self cater, make up a cheese platter from the providore which is just around the corner or make your own breakfast. 3 bedrooms; king bed with ensuite, two x king single beds and 1 x queen bed. Main bathroom has large spa bath and walk in shower. Great for a larger group or couples travelling, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, 'The Green House' has everything you could want with free wifi and free off street parking.
