Pub Choir: Average at Best | Princess Theatre | Launceston

a woman holding a microphone with her head thrown back in front of a crowd
Do you have the best singing voice in the world? Probably not. But the worst? Also unlikely. At Pub Choir, we celebrate the glorious middle ground – average voices welcome! Now in its 8th year, Pub Choir is the world's easiest, funniest, and biggest music lesson. Led by the wildly elastic Astrid, you'll be snapped into shape with humour and heart as she teaches the crowd to create one brand new piece of musical art. The show is a fully improvised comedy music lesson where you are the star. Astrid teaches one song in three-part harmony, and you do your best to follow along – no auditions, no homework, no pressure. Just bring your voice, your average-at-best friends, and your willingness to give it a go. You'll laugh, sing, and maybe even feel a little better. Bonus: Astrid's book Average At Best will be available for pre-order with your ticket, and signed copies can be collected at the show. If her voice holds up, she'll be at the merch desk signing until the crowd has had enough. Prepare for nothing but expect everything
