Winter's Bounty X Jo Barrett

Cooking over a firepit
A fireside feast inspired by Tasmania's bounty Join in on 18th July for a fireside feast celebrating Tasmania's winter harvest with chef, author, environmental activist and changemaker, Jo Barrett. Named Chef of the Year in the 2024 Good Food Guide and recognised as a World's 50 Next Pioneer, Jo Barrett is one of Australia's most compelling culinary voices. Known for her work at Oakridge, the documentary Greenhouse by Joost, and her revolutionary Wildpie, her cooking is deeply connected to the land, championing regenerative produce and wild ingredients. Set on the open-air terrace of Homestead at Piermont, this one-night event brings together open flame cooking, seasonal produce and the wild beauty of Tasmania's east coast. Gather by the fireside as Jo prepares a four-course menu inspired by Tasmania's winter bounty. Mulled wine in hand, long candlelit tables, open firepits and great company will carry the evening well into the night. Live music to be announced soon!
