Camp on our beautiful secluded Wombat Valley property located near Kellevie in southern Tasmania. The camp is situated near a dam with an ample supply of firewood. Explore the nature around you and spot wombats, wallabies, echidnas, Tasmanian devils, possums, and a variety of native birds from this region. Campers must bring their own toilet facilities whilst camping and are required to leave no waste when they depart the property.

Pelicans Rest Accommodation guest houses are set amongst the natural bush on three acres overlooking the water at Marion Bay. Both houses are private and self-contained accommodating up to six guests and well-behaved pets are welcome. The water views and spacious large decks with barbecues make outdoor living easy and relaxing. Both Marion Bay beach and Boomer Bay boat ramp is just five mins away for all your water activity needs. Pelicans Rest is just 35 mins from Hobart airport and a halfway stop between Hobart and Port Arthur. Sea charters are available either to catch a fish or just observe the sea life. Nature walks are available in the beautiful Wielangta Forest and on the Tasman Peninsula. Local vineyard cellar doors and distilleries are nearby.

The Daly Family has been farming potatoes here for over 30 years, making the most of the natural advantages that this beautiful location and Tasmanian climate has to offer. Come bring your caravan or tent and enjoy our amazing views of our farm and Marion bay beach. The distillery is open seven days a week and we are conveniently situated for exploring sites on the Tasman Peninsula. We have a Leave No Trace policy, so please ensure you leave the camp as clean and tidy as you found it, taking all rubbish with you.
